What is there to do in Arizona this Week (December 6th-December 12th)
Wednesday, December 8th (Las Noches de las Luminarias)
Las Noches de Las Luminarias (translates to The Nights of the Luminaries) at the Desert Botanical Garden has become a tradition here in Arizona every holiday season. It might be due to the beautiful luminarias that decorate the garden or the hot chocolate that guest get to enjoy on a stroll through the garden (our favorite), whatever the reason may be this is a must-visit exhibition every December.
This year’s Las Noches de Las Luminarias will be quite the show, as they will debut glass art installations by Dale Chihuly for his Chihuly in the Desert exhibition. Be sure to visit the Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix. or dgb.org for more information

“What started as one-night with 700 hand-lit, paper luminaria bags in the winter of 1978, Las Noches de las Luminarias has evolved into a 44-year-old tradition,” said Amber Salazar, assistant director of event services at DBG
